Over the past three years (2022 thru 2024), the Key Colony Beach Fishing & Boating Club has donated more than $43,000 to local community organizations including:
Suzan Redding of the Key Colony Beach Fishing and Boating Club presents a check to Tara McFarland, the Director of Operations at the Florida Keys SPCA Marathon Campus. This generous amount will provide food, enrichment and medical care for the animals at the FKSPCA. The donation is sincerely appreciated by all at the FKSPCA, especially the animals.
Domestic Abuse Shelter, Inc. chief executive officer, Sheryl Schwab and assistant Katie receive our Club donation from director at large Joe Schmidt and Florence Schmidt. The Domestic Abuse Shelter is moving back to Marathon into a recently purchased and undergoing renovations property. They are very grateful for our generous donation.

The Kid's Fishing Derby has become an annual event sponsored by the Cities of Key Colony Beach, and Marathon, hosted by the Key Colony Beach Police Department and sponsored by the Key Colony Beach Fishing and Boating Club. Read more about that on Ron Sutton Memorial Kids Fishing Derby
Joseph Stickney, president of the local Shrine Club, receives our donation. Contributions go directly toward transportation expenses for children undergoing treatment and their parents, wherever that may be.
