Tournaments Rules and Descriptions

Unless Tournament specifies it will be only for Members that joined the Tournaments.

There is 2 divisions.  All new members start in the Fish Chasers (beginner division)  After you win one of the following tournaments your will be moved into the Fish Tales division (champions division)

Regular Monthly Tournaments

Below is a list of the regular monthly tournaments (Nov – April).  (biggest fish of each species is the winner for each of the 2 divisions)

Spanish mackerel

Season long Tournament

Marathon Garbage Angler of the year  (biggest fish by Percentage of record,  Must be of the monthly species.)

Power squadron Offshore angler of the year (biggest fish by Percentage of record)

Florida Keys Air Condition Challenge
1 Offshore and 1 inshore fish.  Each fish will be weighed in comparison to state records.  The combined score will pay to both divisions 1st and 2nd place.  Thus 4 payouts.   Kingfish can be used as inshore or offshore in this challenge

Captain Hooks Mackerel Classic
Spanish/Cero/or King  will be weighed in comparison to state records and the top 3 will win gift certificates in each will receive Captain hooks Gift certificates. In each division, Thus 6 people

Causeway Fish for Pizza (Entire club is eligible even members that did not join the tournament program)
Weigh in 2 yellowtail at the same time total weight wins.  These 2 fish are not part of the regular monthly tournament

Feb

Keys Rentals by Owners  (all members participate)
Mystery fish tournament 3 fish will be selected at the club meeting,   They are be of the following species
Spanish, mangrove, Grunt, Yellowtail, Lane, Porgie.

Sparky’s Fish for food  Mangrove tournament   (all members Participate)
2 Mangroves weighted at the same time (these must be weighed at thee same time and not eligible as the monthly fish)

Centennial Bank
Yellowtail  top 2 fish in both divisions
